First of all, i don't know if someone already discover this method before. But i couldn't find anyone mentioning it, so here you go:

Recently, i find this infuriating problem where my Digimon kept dying despite meeting every requirement needed to digivolve to Ultimate. Turns out, i'm not the only one who have this problem.

Basically, the game would softlock you to death, no matter what you do, despite meeting every requirement when a certain time has passed. Now, from my experience, the softlock happened only when you JUST MET the requirement during the LAST DAY of your digimon's life. (I think this only occured to unhappy champion (?) might need to experiment further.)

The last day itself varies between each digimon. It was usually determined from happiness. A happy champion usually died in the 15th day, while an unhappy champion died in 11th.

Now, i usually never cheat or save scuming when replaying this game. But this time, i justified myself because just previously i got the Tanemon bug, and work my ass off to get around it and digivolve to Palmon :)
(Turns out, you just need to gain a little weight, and it will digivolve automaticaly. Weirdly, nobody mention this, and recommend the Kunemon method instead. But im sure im not the only one who discover this. Just had to mention it in case anyone need it!)

My 5 days old Tanemon. Gain 10 weight and it digivolve automatically.

Now, to the work around.

Basically, there is a few spot in this game that could grant our digimon immortallity. One of the few spot i know is the terrace infront of Jijimon House. Just get in and get out of the house, and don't move even an inch. This would grant your digimon a practical immortality.

This is the spot.

Just remember to bring portable potty and food in case your Ultimate requires low Care Mistake. And most importantly, make sure all the digivolution requirement for the ultimate is met!

Now, this is the interesting part.

All you have to do is just wait. But how long you have to wait, varies for each digimon (related to the lifespan).

In my case, my digimon lifespan only last for 11 days, because it was unhappy before.

And as it turns out, the game lock the death only until it reach the 15th days!!!
I don't really know how it works, but i'm assuming it has something to do with Vademon digivolution (?)

But basically, the softlock end in the 15th day. Until that, just wait and be patient!

Now, the digimon wouldn't digivolve immediately after reaching the 15th. In my case, i have to wait until it fell asleep. And in the evening, when it wokes up, i just have to wait for an hour in-game. And voila! It digivolve!

FINALLY!!

So yeah. That's basically it. Now i have a piximon and i'm happy :D
