How to Prevent Migraine for important events?

Hi, I was just wondering if yall had any tips or tricks on how to prevent migraines. My biggest/onlyish triggers are my period, stress, lack of sleep and coffee. I know its not 100%% possible to prevent a migraine, but I try. honestly I’m really nervous I will get a migraine on the day of my college graduation. It’s just always on the back of my mind, since I missed my last day of high school because of a migraine( only missed yearbook signing luckily) and ik I got it because of lack of sleep. I will try my best to not stress but it’s a little difficult because of finals, and I always get my period at the start of the month and my graduation date is on the 10th, so rly bad timing.

When I share this concern with my sister she always says to not think you will have a migraine and you won’t. She says that I form them because I believe I will get them 😭, I’m not sure how true that is, is that common/ does that happen ?

I don’t take any meds to prevent them since my triggers are very much on the money on when to expect them.

But what do you guys do when any important event happens that you can’t control, and just REALLY don’t want to have a migraine?

Just a small mention that I have migraine with visual aura, not sure it’s important but yeah.
