This is the only one of 5 still alive from last year. It's been under a grow light in my house. Maybe I should have brought it outside for summer.

I enjoyed that I haven't been able to predict where these books are going at all. I definitely find them a bit less enjoyable than Stormlight but still incredibly written.
Oof "letting the power go" being a trap!! Damn. Almost losing Elend and then he snaps!! Finding out the whole prophecy is a lie! Sazed almost dying twice. Allriene kind of being a badass.Marsh becoming... Whatever the f the obligators are. Kolos being controlled by Vin! All the things!
Having read Stormlight I'm assuming that we are talking about a shard here since it is named Ruin...But it's fun to guess exactly what's going on and how similar things are to Roshar, or not. Are there 3 realms here?
One thing I'm not sorry to be done with is Zane. I found his storyline very annoying and was kind of getting frustrated by Vin's fascination with him. I would like to know why he had a spike though. Who did that to him? It's presumably the source of his "madness".
Anyway, can't wait to see Elend step into a new form of power.
So I've completed the first two books of the Mistborn series after reading all of Stormlight Archive.
In Final Empire there's a Hoid who shows up for five seconds to give Kelsier some info on the Nobility. I kept waiting for him to show up again and do something else epic, but he never did.... I'm assuming this is the same Hoid and not just a coincidence? Can we look forward to more appearances in the Mistborn series?
I'm looking for feedback on AI tools to transcribe long zoom meetings. Is zoom's own cloud recording tool any good?
They would be interview style recordings, only two people but possibly 2-3 hours long. I need an exact transcription and not notes.
Otter AI and the like seem to cap out on longer conversations or charge a lot for anything over 30 minutes.
What have you used? Do you like Zoom's native tool?
I've seen quite a few recommendations for this place as a campground but I don't live in Westchester so I've never been to the park.
There's no online reservation system so info is limited. I'd love to know more about the campsites here since they seem fairly spread out. If we plan to bring a tent should we only stay in the "tent" section as opposed to the lean tos? Are some areas better for kids? It seems some sites are clustered together and others are randomly spread out.
Any advice from those who have stayed on site? I can't find much detail online.
