I’m trying to make sense of why luffy doesn’t have a hybrid form, or some other transformation like other mythical zoans or zoans in general.

Luffy is always rubber, he is always free, even his abilities in base form (which includes his gears which are fighting styles not transformations), his awakening transforms him to fully realize those abilities essential giving him the abilities of nika on full display, complete freedom

Do you think sengoku in his base form is capable of doing things that allude to his full transformation?

We have yet to see what he’s capable of like garp which sucks because he’s probably the only person that could give more answers on how it works when a human eats a human-human fruit.

Given that his model is great Buddha, the concept itself implies he has great abilities, more than what was shown in marineford. Unless his abilities stop at sending shockwaves that’d really suck kuma does that already

All other zoan fruit users whether it’s ancient zoan, mythical, or normal, most of them seem to have a complete transformation and a hybrid transformation which is even stronger than the complete transformation in terms of fighting.

So my real question is do you think there is more to luffy’s power like another transformation or are his only power ups moving forward haki related?

We obviously know the sun god is luffy

I think the rain god is dragon due to him being the #1 enemy to the celestial dragons and rain being their #1 fear

Imu is the forest god, in the mural it says the forest god nurtured devils, imu is the only person we’ve seen do such a thing

The earth god is Blackbeard, I think davy jones was the first to discover the mother flame and harness unnatural powers, Blackbeard, rocks, are front runners for those claiming want to take over the world. Davy jones has already been said to have been king of the world at some point

I think the final battle will be luffy and dragon fighting together against imu possessing Blackbeard who could possibly have 3 devil fruit powers on top of the powers imu is showcasing currently

Spoilers if you’re not caught up: Killingham said the rain god is the celestial dragons biggest fear because them being so high up they’ve never seen rain, that would make dragon the perfect person to fill that role.

Just imagine when he arrives, the celestial dragons already starving, chaos across the holy land, the next thing they see are thunder clouds rolling in, the sky goes dark during the day for the first time in their lives and they see rain for the first time, dragon, the catastrophe, at the head of all the chaos

I only have this theory because like everyone else I suspect that dragon has some sort of power related to weather.

I’ve seen other theories of who the rain god could be some suspect it to be vivi because she brought rain back to alabasta i guess but that’s just because crocodile was continuously making the air dry so clouds wouldn’t form, so technically luffy brought the rain to alabasta
