Only thing left to figure out is a better Demolisher trap.

If you are using generators to charge battery banks, you may have noticed that a timer relay will prevent some of your traps from activating. You can stop that from happening by adding a switch set to ON.
I noticed that the cameras were still on, but the trigger would not activate unless I used the switch. This will also happen with tripwires and pressure plates while the Timer Relay is off.
12 sets of dart traps
5 smg turrets
4 shotgun turrets
A set of electric fence for each trap
All powered independently by tripwires.
Its possible to add another 8 dart traps and 4 turrets without increasing the length of this base. But then it becomes pretty much an afk horde base, and you just need to reload it occasionally.
This base is great for solo hordes with maxed out advanced engineering.
Still going since 2001! Still love to play it :)
I got a broken tooth pulled today, and I wasn't going to try to get it fixed because I don't have dental coverage nor the cash to get the work done.
During the freezing process, I had my little panic attack, as I do, because needles are the bane of my existence. I truly can't handle them, and I was sweating and shaking by the end of it. The dentist was calming and talked me down and made me feel better. One of the comments he made was, "Dentist visits kinda suck," to which I replied, "No, not having the money to fix my tooth sucks; being here is just fine." So he asked me if I wanted to get it fixed. I told him I had no money for it. He said, "I know, do you want me to try and fix it?"
So, part way through him going through the process of fixing my tooth, he told me the bad news. My tooth was split down the middle, and it had to be extracted.
Now, I was pretty upset over not being able to get coverage and not being able to try and save my tooth. But this man really made me feel good, and even though I ended up with one less tooth, this guy deserves some good karma, and maybe a bottle of Scotch.
I haven't fought a Horde in the wasteland since 1.6. I am at game stage 1000-ish and I'm excited to see how this design will hold up.
I have used this type of base every playthrough so far, so I don't see it failing. I just hope it deals enough damage to get lots of kills and lasts 40 minutes.
If not, I left enough room to double down on the traps.
I have been using the same hotbar layout for ever, it works well with the way I use my controller. But now I am curious to see some other layouts.
I set up my hotbars to assist me in doing lightspeed bursts, and slide casting.
Edit: the hotbar on the far right is just a visual for my cooldowns on the second hotbar, the bottom hotbar is my WXMB
If you want lots to explore these map seeds are great. The 8k map has 6 cities in the wasteland and 2 of them are huge.
