Hey folks, planning a spontaneous trip to Ooty from Bangalore. Here are the details:
📅 Dates: Leaving Friday morning (May 8) → Returning Sunday evening (May 10)
🚗 Transport: I’ll arrange a self-drive rental car
🏠 Stay: Two night in Ooty (May 8-9), head back Sunday morning.
👥 Looking for: 2-3 people to join
This is a completely unplanned trip — no fixed itinerary, just drive through the ghats, chill in the hills, eat good food, and vibe. We figure things out as we go.
About me: Chill guy, who likes good road trip conversations. And just looking to get out of the city for a couple of days.

hmu if you’re down. Once I have 3-4 people total, we lock it in.
Please note I live in Whitefield and want people around whitefield only.
Let’s go 🏔️

We split everything equally — car rental, fuel, stay, food.

(PS: If I dont get enough responses I might as well leave solo taking a bus 🥲)

Whitefield is full of people and somehow the loneliest place I’ve lived in.

I’ve been here a for like 6m now and I genuinely don’t know my neighbours, barely talk to anyone outside work, and most of my close friends have either left the city or are stuck on the other side of Bangalore. Getting to Indiranagar or Koramangala for a social life takes so much out of me that I just… don’t.

So I’m putting this out here if you’re also near ECC Road and stuck in the same work-eat-sleep cycle, let’s actually do something about it.

I’m up for:

•	Badminton: there’s a court nearby, genuinely looking for people to play with

•	Walks around Nallurhalli Lake or Kadugodi Tree Park

•	Chai or food somewhere close, nothing fancy

Free on weekday evenings and weekends. No grand plans needed even just a walk and talking to an actual human being sounds great at this point.

If any of this sounds familiar, drop a comment or DM. Would be nice to know I’m not the only one who finds Whitefield weirdly isolating despite being packed with people.
