I’m getting bored af around IPTL, Pattandur Agrahara and figured I’d just ask here.
Any students around the area looking to connect, grab some food/coffee/smoke, explore nearby places, or just chill and talk? I’m new-ish to the area and would be down to meet some people.
Also, if there are any good student/college/local Bangalore subs I should post this in, drop them below.
Not necessarily looking for anything specific,just trying to meet people instead of rotting in my room lol.

Getting stuck in main road traffic is at least understandable but even these sub roads inside the area !

This particular road gets jammed everyday but until now I have never seen any cops there to maintain traffic, People barge in from every corner like some illiterates...It took more than 20mins just to move 1km ...some civilians managed to clear the traffic or else we would have been stuck there for hours there

A follow-up to my previous Pizza 4P’s bot update.

The response has been far bigger than I expected, and quite a few people have asked whether the bot could support other Bengaluru restaurants with similarly chaotic reservation windows.

Instead of guessing, I’d like the community to choose what I work on next.

• How reservations currently work
• Why it is difficult to book
• The days or timings that are especially competitive

Which restaurant should be next?

I moved to Whitefield recently and while I’ve managed to figure out the basics pretty quickly, I’m still completely lost when it comes to healthcare. I know there are plenty of hospitals around here, and I can obviously find a diagnostic centre if I need blood tests. But what about everything in between?

I’m trying to be a bit more proactive about my health and have been looking for things like fitness assessment, nutrition, preventive health and sports medicine. Every search seems to take me to either a large hospital or a generic wellness centre, and I have no idea which places people actually trust.

If you’ve been living around Whitefield for a while, what healthcare services have you genuinely found useful? Pls only share actual experiences if possible rather than Google reviews

I am currently working in a listed company where most of my team is in other city so my manager does not care if I dnt go to office. I mostly work from home.

CTC : 65 all fixed

Yearly bonus : around 10 depends on company performance but get around 9-10.5.

Now I got an offer from other listed company better position but it’s fully WFO. And on top of that it’s in HSR.

Offer is around 95 + some bonus.

Not sure how difficult will be commute from Whitefield to HSR daily.

Can someone guide in this.

Why is this place so loud and noisy. Every day, there’s a birthday celebration from 12 to 1:30 am out on roads. There are bikes and tankers roaring late till even 3 a.m!!! Why does the police not take any action regarding noise post 11 p.m.? Does anyone have suggestions on how can it be improved?

Thinking of going Indian since café food has become clichéd.

Thinking of Sweet shop type items like Samosa, Dhokla, etc.

I am looking for a nice next door pub ( not fancy) where a group of guys can assemble every now and then, have chilled beers relax and enjoy their time sitted in a quite corner. Not some fancy , asthetic,crowded shit.

Moved into a small apartment in the Thubarahalli/BEML Layout side earlier this year. Power backup was verbally promised before we signed. Now the owner doesn’t switch on the Generator at all, so the lift just stops mid-outage. Not answering calls either.

My worry is straightforward: if someone gets stuck at night, there’s no working alarm inside, no emergency number displayed, and nobody on site who knows how to release the car. They’d sit there until BESCOM comes back.

Rent agreement says rent is inclusive of maintenance, and I pay electricity separately on my own meter — so I’m assuming lift upkeep is his side of the deal.

One things I’d appreciate:
Has anyone actually filed with the Electrical Inspectorate / Chief Inspector of Lifts about an unlicensed or badly maintained lift? Did anything come of it, and how long did it take?

Not looking to fight, just want the thing safe before someone gets hurt.

Does anyone know any good reasonable bike accessories shop in Whitefield?
I want to get mini drive lights/small fog lamps and a Royal Enfield tripper installed for navigation. I don't want to go HSR or JC Road for these light modifications.
