It's been a tiring work week, and a while since I went out on a date. I miss the feeling of just going out, spending some time, having a meaningful conversation, and just being around someone.

I just went through a breakup of a relationship that lasted ~7 years, and we were LDR for 2 years - the last time I took someone out that wasn't my gf, was pre-Covid, so yeah - trying to understand what dating means in this decade.

Hmu if you just feel like going out this weekend - Bowling/mini golf? Maybe a movie after? And end the day with dinner, somewhere fancy?

Full disclosure: I look average or below average (4/10 maybe?), on the heavier side of the scale physically, so yeah - that's not something I'd tick off your box if you have one. But humour is my greatest strength - and I can probably keep you laughing through the day, if you have an itch to tickle your funny bone. Alternatively, if you feel like hearing a sad story, I've one for the ages - as long as you're ready to let it rain.

I'll be honest, I just got out of a relationship - a very serious one that lasted ~6.5 years, and I feel broken because all those dreams I had of starting a family have shattered.

She was the only person I could open up to, and confide in, and now that she's gone, I feel this emptiness within, that idk how to get over.

I know I eventually want something serious - my dream has always been to start a family, raise kids, teach them how to live, help them avoid the mistakes I've made, and grow old with my partner while watching them live their lives. We don't really have to get physical, that's secondary rn, just need that emotional warmth to get over the emptiness that's killing me.

Let's go out, have a conversation, and see where things lead to from there?

About me: Just moved to Bangalore, so the emptiness is worse because of a lack of social life? I stay in a 1bhk in Whitefield. Have a job that pays decent. I spend my weekends at random board game or bowling meetups. A chai addict - probably go out for about 4-5 cups of chai a day.
