My Girlfriend Still Doubts Me Over an Old Mistake and Now Wants Breakup or No Restrictions
My girlfriend keeps bringing up the same issue from a long time ago. Back then, because I was naive, she asked for my social media ID/password, and I refused to give it to her because it had my friends’ secrets and private chats in it. Since then, she keeps doubting me. And honestly, I don’t blame her , if I were in her place, I would’ve felt bad too. But not to the point where I’d repeatedly talk about breaking up.
A lot of time has passed since that incident, and I’ve genuinely changed my behavior for her. After that day, I never repeated that mistake again. But now she’s saying either we should break up, or if we stay together, then I shouldn’t stop or question her about talking to or following other guys.
What hurts me more is that she cheated on me once in the past, but I chose to forgive her, gave her a second chance, and never brought that topic up again because I believed people can change. That’s why I can’t help but wonder, don’t I deserve a chance too?
