How do teenagers in UB even find jobs? I tried last year when i was 16, did so many interviews and rejected me for being a minor. Im 17 right now but if we talk in years i was born in 2008, so technically im 18, turning 18 in winter officially. I really wanna start working once summer break starts since my father’s birthday is in august, i wanna earn some money and get him some quality or luxuries gift. But it seems most places really dont like hiring minors, or minor girls because boys apparently have it easier to work. How do yall girls find work here? Any suggestions or advices?

Can anyone help me on how to calculate high school GPA for US colleges application? Like i literally have no idea how my transcripts are supposed to look like, and how it should look like US GPA scale, and we use I-VIII grading system instead of A-F and not 1-5 anymore. So how am i even supposed do this??😭 is this “evaluation” thing necessary? Can counselors do this? Also can anyone show me an EXAMPLE? That’d be really helpful.
