I need to move to a new home that’s closer to my job and daughters school and move my soon to be fiancée and her daughter in with me, but my current home isn’t quite big enough for all four of us

I haven’t had many showings for my home. Is the trend right now renting instead of buying? I don’t know if I should consider renting it out or a rent to own situation
