Cleaned out a storage unit today and came across a few silver platters. This one was the only one marked. It was marked Sterling 950. Weighs 5.5 lbs.

I know nothing about silver.

I assume this is worth something? Is it significant? Do I clean it? If it’s worth selling, where do I go to get a reasonable price? Is it worth more as a decorative piece or is it just worth the silver value?

Sorry to have so many questions. Just don’t want to throw away something that might have decent value.
