I came across the ’N Style Girls dolls a couple of days ago, but also saw them being sold with the Sindy and Tanya logo’s. I couldn’t find any information about why this is, since they aren’t even made by the same company.

I was able to figure out that the Tanya dolls were sold under the Sindy name in Greece for some reason, and those two doll lines are also sold by different companies.

So I would like to know if this is just a licesing thing and they asked permission to use the name Sindy for some countries or if there is another explanation, I am really curious why all 3 doll lines used to sell this particular collection with slight alterations.

Does anyone else have a certain release from Bratz that just doesn’t make sense to you? From the dolls or show’s perspective. The right answer is just to sell more dolls, but I wanted to discuss about them! I also want to remind that this is suppose to be a lighthearted post! Here are mine:

Who’s that guy?

I have no idea why they would introduce Kobe, his name sounds so similiar to Koby, looks a lot like him and he (to my knowlage) only comes in a set with Cloe. The main issue to me comes from the theme: a date. Now it’s been a while since I last saw the series, but I do remember Cloe and Cameron being a couple, or at least interested in eachother… Why not just use Cameron?

The skinwalkers

From what I read, this set isn’t considered Canon among fans, but lets talk about it! We have characters with names from previous characters, Dana being the most known. The problem is, she looks way too much like the actual Dana. I guess Maribel looks like herself too (I can see Dana and Maribel being sisters, just not twins/triplets), while Tiana is her own character in this set to begin with (I think). We already had Triiipletz Brigitte, Adrienne and Janelle who look similiar to these girls, even the box art is the same! And I know there are many, many people with the same name in the world, but for a brand with recognizable characters, this set is confusing.

The missing sister

Another case of triiipletz, this time it’s more about who belongs to the Family. To me, since the Babyz exist it proves that all three are triiipletz together. But I can see Why having two separate releases where a girl is just added to the family is confusing. It would be nice if we had a backstory for these girls.

Wrong passion

I think this is the most known case of a confusing release, since two of the girls’ passion doesn’t make sense at all! Jade is obvious since She likes to take risks with fashion and loves to start new trends, Cloe I can see being interested in web desing work, but Yasmin and Sasha’s interests? No. Music was Sasha’s thing, and while being interested in fashion, I still can’t see her being a fashion designer. Yasmin’s was (from what I remember) writing and animals.

So, are there any other sets that don’t make sense to you or someone you know? It would be nice to hear what you guys think!

I was so excited when I saw the Hearts Family Grandma, she looks so lovely. Her outfit is really pretty, too. The Ken was a let down, his hair was cut from the back, I’ll have to reroot him. At least he was wearing cool clothes.

The mtm girl is super pretty, I like the closed mouth Millie sculpt. All I need to do is fix up her hair a little. The Chic one I bought for her clothes, I think I’ll try customizing her face a little.

I want to clarify one thing; I am not counting spin off lines like Babyz or lil Bratz, only the regular ones. Also I didn’t count the reproductions.

Which one would you like to bring back? Or is there any name you would like to see used again, but on a completely new character?

Im not sure if characters like Blaine and Todd are the same character, but I included them because they were introduced as different people.

What about you?

I really like that I can be creative when swapping parts and creating new looks! Some doll lines have done this gimmick better than others in my opinion (the more you are able to swap, the better imo) I love them all though! My favorites are Betty, CAM and Swappin Styles.

If you happen to know other doll lines that have the option to swap parts (or wigs, too) I would love to know!
