I miss Lamoon in Elmhurst that closed a few years back. They were unique and had dishes like pearl (boba) pad thai (pic above), thai tea infused pad thai, and mango salad w/ ant eggs. I feel like the current Thai scene is either over priced charging too many fees for certain proteins or lacking in flavor/portion.

I do go to Saranrom in Elmhurst when I eat out or have friends visit, but wanted to know if there are any standout thai spots thats recommended in terms on portion, price and value. I have been to alot of spots in elmhurst and would like to try new spots!
