Was the Homeric hymn to Demeter a comforting/sympathetic text for mothers in antiquity?

I LOVE this interpretation. And I think it makes a lot of sense given the nature of the myth. I've seen several people stating this and for me it was a fact. However, this type of statement probably needs some source beyond the text and probably academic sources (since it deals with anthropological, cultural, textual function issues, etc., and I don't know much about that part 😅). Is there any source that corroborates this reading or is it a mistaken view? I would be happy to know :-D
