Help your brother out plss (better branch vs better college)
So I couldn't perform well in my exams f state boards. Now I have only 2 options. and sadly these are my only option
Rvce IEM ( through MQ)
MUJ ECE/CSE
Please help me choose between these. Ik it's not as good an option as others in this sub, but I will give my best to not repeat the same mistakes again in college.
My parents are telling me to join rvce, as someone from their relative did their btech there (circuital) like 10 years ago, and is good very well now.
But I don't really want to do iem, but they are insisting too much. Ece looks interesting to me, has better opportunities if not directly out of college, but after some experience, it looks like a good career. Also if I want to pursue higher studies ece looks better, idek what iem people do or what the higher studies are like. Also after seeing my mistakes in jee prep, i have decided that i will only focus on the core branch i am studying, i suck at juggling 2 things. So if i do iem i will only focus on iem, no coding dsa tech etc, if ece then only ece.
But according to parents rv is rv, is college that big of an impact?
Again I do not mean to hate on rvce or the iem branch, I am sure people make it good core branches too.
So should I listen to parents and go rvce or should I choose ece.
