Jiit vs Manipal (i know it sounds absurd but please read body)

Yeah so I mean Manipal is considered better than Jiit almost everywhere online, and naturally that is what I believe too

But for some reason my relatives said that all colleges after iit nit and iiits and bits are just the same and doesnt matter where you go, they also said that manipal is isolated while jiit is close to delhi

They said that jiits placements are good too and manipal is just for spoilt brats 😭😭

How do I defend Manipal in front of my Parents?

OK BITS Pilani MSC or Manipal CSE Core(Main Campus)

I might get BITS Pilani, MSC Chem. According to last year's cutoffs, I actually have no Idea how MSC courses work. Is it an engineering course, or is it BSC + MSC, do I get a Bachelor of Engineering degree or not

and I am also getting Manipal CSE Fees is not really an issue, and placement is also my main criteria, so Is MSC placements better or manipal placements

and anybody whose studies there, will there be discrimination against MSC students and are you looked down upon by other BE students,

please help, I know it sounds like a dumb question when you Compare it but I genuinely have no Idea how MSC works except the fact that I know first year CG decides you next 4 years course

Thapar ECE or VIT Chennai CSE (core)(CAT 5)

These are the options i have, or drop.

Father prefers CSE, maternal uncle prefers VIT because of brand (he lives in bangalore working in VLSI industry).
But everyone online says take thapar because of better crowd, better brand, lower intake and better life, and placements too. Quoting that i am not getting main campus in VIT and that too category 5.

I am interested in ECE but equally fine with CSE too, will have to do Masters in either of options anyways as per my dad.

Thapar infra seems much better but one glaring issue it has is its cooked placements this year, only 50% placed with 8-9lpa average (?)

please help

Arts mainly research universities like DU/JNU are more famous and mainstream than Science specific research universities like IISER/NISER, what is the reason for this disparity in popularity?

Is it Student politics, or what could be the reason? Because science-based research has better job opportunities, better placement, and more scope, even in futuristic needs and utilities, science research takes the prominence. I just can't find the reason...?

Should I joint VIT vellore or wait cuet PG counselling?

I got 90 rank in vitmee and 178 marks SC category in cuet PG. I am pretty sure I will get VIT vellore easily. Du counselling is going on and JNU's not started yet. Last date for vit fee payment is 11 june.

So should I wait for du and jnu counselling? Do I have the chances for du and jnu? Should I just go for vit vellore?

College Advice JEE Mains!!!

I've got 97.8%ile in mains with OBC NCL category rank 10k and ofcourse I don't have much options.

For Top NITs I've very lower branches like biotech or metallurgy or mining.

For Top IIITs I don't have any options so far I'm not getting any Top IIITs, I'll get tier 2 IIITs like Pune and other lower IIITs CSE but they are quite far from my home and not so good campus life.

Another interesting option I've got is Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) CSE, and I'm getting it. The BTech is quite new in JNU but still the location is extremely good and Brand Value of JNU is also top notch.

I really don't know what to do pls help!!
