A girl in college got caught red handed with the peon

This happened in my friends college, he’s doing BBA from a college in Pune, there was this girl in her college who was rich and arrogant but also hot, she applied for masters in UK in a reputed university and needed good grades in her finals as the college she applied had strict criteria for grades, turns out for one of the paper- she made a deal with the department peon in for the final paper (as he was the one who make the copies). She was caught red handed making out with him in the store room by the college authority, but the case was buried underneath as her father is an influential man, she was barred from giving exam and can give next year only. She was in my friend’s college, I knew that girl too but never thought she could do something like this.

Confused, help me choose.

Thapar – Electronics & Instrumentation (or Electronics & Instrumentation & Control)

Manipal Bengaluru – Computer Science (CSE)

IIM Mumbai – BS in Digital Science & Business Management

Or a low ranking branch in a gov college in Delhi like Civil or biotechnology

What college options are best for mht cet , I got low score 😭😭

Plz tell colleges with low percentile cutoff,I got 74.811 percentile, very low compared to my expectations 😭😭, i don't know what to do i want to get out of my city and house, and i know it's difficult to get college outside as cutoff are high , so plz are their any tier 2 colleges in Pune or Mumbai?? Mainly pune ?

I am from nashik , and I have chance of getting into kk wagh which is also not much given the cutoff, I am going to take admission in guru Gobind Singh College of engineering, i know nothing abt the college, 😭 my father is looking after it , it's like he will not pay in city Colleges near , but outside colleges is debatable, so if I get college through cap rounds it much better

Title: Help me choose a university 😭 I'm genuinely stuck and running out of options (CSE, Budget ~₹1.8L/year)

I've been searching for colleges for months and I'm honestly mentally exhausted. I feel like I've checked almost every university in North India but every option has some major drawback.

My profile:

\- General category

\- JEE Main: not that good

\- Class 12: 51%pcm

\- Want B.Tech CSE only (not interested in ECE or other branches)

\- Budget: Around ₹1.8 lakh/year tuition max (can't stretch much beyond that)

These are the colleges/universities I've considered so far:

\- Galgotias University – My best option, but they refused to give me CSE.

\- Chandigarh University – Too expensive for me.

\- LPU – Also expensive.

\- Parul University – I was eligible and almost finalized it, but the location (Vadodara) and overall cost became a problem.

\- JECRC University – CSE fee is too high.

\- Chitkara University – Too expensive.

\- Geeta University – Fee is okay, but the location feels too isolated.

\- Noida International University – Mixed reviews,

confused whether it's worth it.

\- Starex University – Same confusion/is it good or just same as kcc

\- KCC Institute – This is my backup, but I've seen so many negative reviews about studies and placements that I'm scared to join.

\- Tula's Institute – Considering it but still location/fee out of budget

\- Poornima University – Also considering it/worried about the faculty and management

I specifically want a college that has:

\- Decent CSE faculty

\- A good coding environment

\- At least average placements

\- Normal campus/student life

\- Not in a completely remote village

\- Tuition around ₹1.8 lakh/year

If you were in my position, which college would you choose and why? If you've studied at any of the universities I mentioned, I'd really appreciate an honest review. Also, if you know any other university that fits my budget and profile, please suggest it.

I'm genuinely confused and just want to make the least regrettable decision.

Regarding ACPC COUNCELLING!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm participating in ACPC counselling and will most likely get these colleges for Electrical Engineering (EE):

  • LE Morbi
  • GEC Palanpur
  • GEC Patan
  • Government Engineering College (Shantilal Shah), Bhavnagar
  • GEC Godhra
  • GEC Dahod
  • Some private colleges (currently lower on my preference list)

Can anyone rank these colleges or suggest the best one based on placements, placement %, faculty, strict attendance criteria (if any), student peer group, GATE culture, hostel facilities/cleanliness, campus environment, city & industry exposure, and overall college life?

Here's what I've found so far (please correct me if I'm wrong):

  • LE Morbi: No hostel mess (students use tiffin), hostel cleanliness is said to be below average, but it's located in the main city. I also couldn't find reliable placement data.
  • Shantilal Shah, Bhavnagar: No hostel mess, campus is away from the city, reportedly strict 75% attendance, and placements seem quite low.
  • GEC Patan: Away from the city, with mixed reviews about hostel cleanliness.
  • However, I couldn't find enough reliable information about GEC Palanpur, Godhra, or Dahod.

I'd really appreciate honest reviews from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with these colleges. Thanks!

BITSP MnC vs IIITH CS(4yr ug) (please read body)

Yoo ppl in a major dilemma (good one ig) now

Got cs in iiith..

And have mnc in pilani (missed cs by 1 mark, so possibly could get it in next iterations..)

I am quite interested in both mnc and cs syllabi..

Ill choose pilani cs(if i get) over iiith cs clearly coz of better clg life, no rqd attendance and stuff..

Not sure abt mnc tho as its new branch and stuff..

The thing with iiith refund is they need to get an offer letter which is dated after today to get a substantial refund, otherwise kuch nhi milega..

Should I leave iiith today or possibly burn 2.5L to have both bits and iiith offers?
