For reference, this is for a June evening wedding outside Dallas. The ceremony is outdoor and the reception is indoor.

Exact language from B&G’s website: “Attire : Formal”

I love this dress! The base is cream but I thought the florals were large and vibrant enough that it wouldn’t read “bridal”. I would pair it with nude kitten heels and a very similar clutch as in the picture.

However, my coworker (who is getting married soon) said that she’d be irritated if someone wore this to her wedding because it’s a white base.

Am I out of line?? This wedding is for a relative of my boyfriend’s and I don’t want to be “that girl”.
