Can we all agree on how high performers, aka “A workers” are so frking annoying and exhausting?
I just want to come in, do my job, get paid, and go home.
I have absolutely no interest in making some multimillionaire business owner richer at the expense of leaving my mind and soul at work. I want to make enough money to provide for myself and my family and have a reasonably comfortable life. Call me mediocre, I’m ok with that. I’m not interested in being “at the top of the game” making people above me look good while giving up my own dreams and personal life.
Working now with a few A workers who constantly boss everyone around, question every tiny detail, blowing up the group chat nonstop, and correcting someone’s email because if one word is wrong 🙄
Jesus, people. Get a hobby. Train for a marathon. Put all that energy somewhere else and let the rest of us work in peace, please.
