Fellas,

My priority date still isn’t current, but I already have an FTA1. My case was sent to a non-local field office and then transferred back to NBC. Emma also confirmed the interview was waived.

Does that mean they already reviewed/processed everything at the FO and just sent it back to NBC to wait for the PD to become current? If so, once my date is current, should I expect faster green card approval rather than the usual months-long wait?

Has anyone had a similar experience where things moved quickly after the PD became current in this situation?

My PD is Oct 2023 for EB1 (Not Current)

My RD is March 16 2026

Biometric April 16 2026

I had following event code on my case

FTA0 x2 on the day of Biometrics April 16th

FTA0 x1 on June 30th

FTA1 x1 on June 30th

I had filed i485+i765+i131 concurrent

No silent updates

I reached out to live agent via chat 3 different times since june 30th because they only answered 1 question at a time and to check what the update was about on June 30th, they responded:

1. 1st time inquiry in July, the agent mentioned "File was transferred to Harlingen FO" (Non Local).

2. 2nd time I reached out in July to check what was the FTA1 means

The agent told me "the code means, your application is being processed"

3. In August when I reached out to check about my interview status, the agent mentioned your application was marked as "interview waived", additionally she mentioned that application was at National Benefit Center (NBC).

Question: Back in July the agent mentioned that my application was transferred to FO in Harlingen, now in August agent mentioned the application is at NBC, is it possible for applications to go back to the NBC after transferred to non local FO?

Hello all, I have a question about the recent update I got. When I used API Tracker, I485 showed status changed from "Actively reviewing" to Currently Processing"- and had an FTA01 code to it.

I am curious what this FTA01 code is, and what happens next? Basically, my question is inclined towards whether I should be expecting an EAD+AP at least?
Some background: PD is Oct 2023 and not current per July VB.
Applied for I-485, I-765, and I-131 together in April 2026, and for biometrics completed in April 2026

Hello, my PD is Oct 23. I gave my biometrics on April 16th, 2026, and on the same day, I got 3 FTA0 for my I-765 (EAD). I know my PD is not current; it will happen when it's supposed to, but when can I at least expect my I-765 (EAD) card to be approved?
