Silent Updates: 4/29, 7/10, 8/6, 8/19 (x3 SU) only main applicant, nothing for derivative (8/6 last update).
No 3rd FTA0 or any important code generated. Any idea if this at least gives some hope? API still shows NBC.

My AOS package (I-485, EAD, and AP) for myself and my dependent was delivered to the Dallas Lockbox on August 13. So far, no credit card charges, texts/emails, or receipt notices.
For anyone who recently filed I-485 through Dallas, how long did it take from delivery to your payment being processed and/or receipt numbers being issued?
Would especially appreciate timelines from July/August filers. Thanks!

Hello all , I wish to seek some expertise regarding an RFE I received. I am currently F1 STEM OPT, and applied for AOS with I-485. I received an RFE for proving that I was in lawful legal status and the time of applying. To me it's bizarre because I thought I had covered all of the bases. Here are all of the pieces of evidence I provided:
I believe that I may have received this RFE because the "current" I-20 I submitted had a "requested" for STEM OPT on the second page. Any advice would be appreciated, on what other pieces of evidence I can show is appreciated. Thanks!

After a long wait, our EB-2 NIW I-485 cases have been approved and the Green Cards are finally here. These timeline posts helped me a lot while I was waiting, so I'm sharing mine as another data point.

The I-485 stage was easily the most stressful part - months would pass with no visible movement, and there's no way to tell whether silence is good or bad. In our case, the transfer out of NBC to a non-local field office turned out to be the last step before approval, and it went through without an interview or an RFE.
Very grateful this chapter is closed. To everyone still in the queue: the quiet stretches are normal, and they do end. Hoping your approvals land soon. 🎉

My case data shows updatedAt: 2026-07-29 and ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms: true, even though I hadn't seen an update like this before. Then on Aug. 13, 2026, a duplicate FTA1 event was created, while its original eventDateTime is still Dec. 30, 2025 . Has anyone seen this pattern before? Does updatedAt + ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms indicate any actual adjudicator activity, or is this just a USCIS backend/system update?
Single EB-2 NIW principal applicant, no derivatives. I-140 approved, I-485 filed earlier this year, currently in F-1 status, and USCIS scheduled an AOS interview.

For anyone who had a single-applicant EB-2 NIW interview, did USCIS tell you why you were interviewed? Were you approved afterward? Does an interview usually indicate that something specific in the case needs clarification?

I have received the third FTA0 and FTA1 two weeks ago on Aug 2 and nothing since then, not even silent updates.
I see that usually FTA1s are followed by H008 or something good. But my case been silent since Aug 2.

I mailed my I 485 package to the Chicago lockbox on 08/12, and was told it should arrived on 08/15. Today is 08/18. All I see from the website is that my package is “available for pickup” in Chicago (see screenshot). Has anyone ever experienced this with USPS? How long before it gets delivered ? Should I call them ? I’m worried for potential backward movement in the VS for September. Any help is greatly appreciated.
