My case data shows updatedAt: 2026-07-29 and ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms: true, even though I hadn't seen an update like this before. Then on Aug. 13, 2026, a duplicate FTA1 event was created, while its original eventDateTime is still Dec. 30, 2025 . Has anyone seen this pattern before? Does updatedAt + ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms indicate any actual adjudicator activity, or is this just a USCIS backend/system update?

EB2 NIW I‑485 filed June 2025, Case still “Processing,” no RFE/NOID, USCIS processing time estimate already passed but their “outside normal” inquiry date is still in November.

For people familiar with delayed employment‑based I‑485 or mandamus:

Do you wait until USCIS officially shows the case “outside normal processing time,” or is a 12+ month post‑filing / 6+ month post‑interview delay already enough to talk to a mandamus lawyer?

Any experience or expert input would help a lot, thank you.

EB2 NIW I‑485 filed June 2025, still pending. When do people usually consider mandamus...only after case is “outside normal time” on USCIS site, or earlier?

Hello, Need advice regarding Italian student visa sponsorship.

Can we use a sponsor living in a foreign country (like a brother/sibling) for an Italian student visa application instead of parents? Has anyone recently succeeded with this?

Hi everyone,

I have a pending I‑485 (filed in June, 2025). My status is still ‘Case Is Being Actively Reviewed’ with no decision for almost 1 year.

Is anyone else with an EB‑2 NIW adjustment filed around June 2025 still waiting this long? Does this seem within normal timing for 2025–2026, or did your cases move faster? Just trying to understand whether my delay is typical. Thank you.
