
I have 2022 Jeep Gladiator that’s been making some loud clinking on sharp right turns. It also makes a knocking noise when going straight at lower speeds. That noise tracks with axle rotation.
I looked around the wheel and see two things. One is a complete loose vibration damper. The other is a worn outer tie rod. They are circled in the attached picture. My question is whether these two things could cause the two different noises I’m hearing.
