I'm really at the end of my tether with trying to lose weight.. :(

Am now on Ozempic, which means I can get my calories down to about 1000.. I lost weight initially (5kg) but that has now plateaued. I now some people will say that's not enough calories and I should eat more, I have tried that but I don't lose weight, in fact I put it on..

My calorie counting is correct. I don't cook with oil. I have a meal replacement shake for breakfast, mixed with water. That's about 200 calories.

Lunch just lately I have been having a prepackaged small container of hommus with 6 crackers in the pack. That's 179 calories. Or I might have home made soup, about 300 calories.

Dinner is around 400 calories (I have been buying some packaged meals, so I can track the calories exactly)

I've given up eating bread for the most part, so no butter to account for.

I have 1 coffee a day with a small amount of milk.

I do hydrotherapy 2-3 times a week, and have restarted my weights program (I had to stop this for a while due to severe arthritis in my lower back, thus the hydrotherapy, which is walking and other exercises in the pool)

I saw my endo today. He is of the opinion that I have a very low basal metabolic rate. His suggestion was to be as active as I can manage. Which isn't a lot due to the arthritis. I can start trying to walk again, but how much exercise should I do be doing? I try to have lower activity days in between the weights, to have some recovery time so I can try to build more muscle, rather than going to exhaustion and then not being able to do anything for several days.

My diabetes nurse has told me in the past that post menopause, you need to do an hour a day of moderate exercise (eg moderate walking, not just housework) just to not put on more weight, and more if you want to lose weight.

What do you do if you can't walk for an hour and a half a day and can't cut your calories any further without risking deficiencies? Surely this can't be normal? I already mix some greens powder into my meal replacement shake and supplement B12 and vitamin D as have been deficient in both :(
