Question for the girls: Do you actually think saying "Sorry I have a bf" is the same thing as saying "No" when someone asks you out (especially when you were friends with them)?
For context: One of my friends asked a girl out (my ex btw but it doesnt rlly matter) and essentially she was like "no sry i have a bf" bc she was too scared to tell him no and didnt want to hurt his feelings (she did this sort of thing to me as well- she didnt tell me that she didnt like me anymore for like a month and when she did it was bc i asked shes unconfrontational) and her friends came over to our table at lunch and were talking abt it for some reason and i was like "she shouldve just said no instead of lying abt having a bf" and then they were like "well its basically the same thing" and i was like "no its not" so what do you guys think
