I'm pretty new to making my own cosplays and I'm pretty determined to make this one since it doesnt seem too complicated (famous last words lmao). But I am so completely lost on picking fabrics for this jacket (outer and lining). I'm new to a lot of the fabric picking and knowing what's best, etc. I'd ideally want it to be as lightweight as I could get it since I am prone to overheating. I was looking at some iridescent fabrics to add a cool flare for the liner but nothing is really suiting my taste. I'd like for the cosplay to have some unique little things to the fabric but I'm so lost for what type of fabric. So, how would you personally go about something like this?
