I accidentally matched a tree. Ngl my hair is so unhealthy lol. I maintain the curls looking pretty though. But hair has definitely broke off in every area. Especially the front. Anti humidity gel really helps it not look too insane. But honestly, I’m either gonna have damaged and pretty pink hair and be happy or my gorgeous and healthy natural color and be miserable so I’m okay with this. Until I’m not and maybe have to cut it off lol but even if I do, I will come back to pink. & really it’s only so unhealthy bc I didn’t have a handle on getting it to this shade in the first place. Blonde box dyes, rounds and rounds of color remover, toner, bleach. It was too much to get here all because I never wanted to just do the simple but risky thing which is bleach from the beginning. If you’re gonna do this, BLEACH. Hell, even double bleach. But don’t try hacks and ‘shortcuts’ not really worth all that.

Ngl, my hair has been acting STRINGY (final pic). I was nervous she was finally giving up on me from bleaching and color removing. It was still soft and fluffy but wasn’t really coily the way I know it can be. For the past year, I moreso focused on stretch so I was using uncle funky gel and camille rose gel bc it elongates my hair. But I had been wanting to get back to an anti humidity gel bc it would fluff out. So I tried the Doux Chief Rocka mousse with their Block Party. Phenomenal combo. Coils sprang BACK. I wish I could hold onto the length it is before drying but I barely care. I love the shape it takes when the curls are in full effect. It’s kinda like anime hair. The color helps of course. Anyway, I was gonna try and stock up on Miche anti humidity gel but Doux is much easier for me to get my hands on so I guess this will be my go to.

ngl I think I DID IT. I think I found my perfect pink combination.
Last week, I did a bleach bath and then tried some combos I hated so I faded out with keracolor’s fade shampoo. washed like 5 times a day.
THIS is Joico blush with Pulp riot blush
1:1 ratio. I bought the pulp riot blush from amazon but those can be inconsistent so I would recommend getting it through someone who has a license. It’s more of a purplish pink and they balance well since my hair isn’t even toned. There’s a tad orange in the hair but it doesn’t show as much. It’s moreso in the roots.
If you can’t get your hands on the Pulpriot, do a 2:1 of Joico blush with GDY Stoned Pony.
I can finally stop abusing my curls. I will not be alternating between olaplex and k18 weekly. My hair grows fast but the hair is lots shorter from damage so I will probs get the secret hair oil thing and maybe do some progress tracking.
