I’m getting my first iud in a day and I’m really nervous about it. I don’t have anyone to go with me, my boyfriend will be working unfortunately. What should I know before I get it, what can I expect afterwards?? I was told to take 800mg tylenol every 8 hours, starting before the appointment or 600mg every 6, but tylenol never does anything for me. I have naproxen since I get bad period cramps, I thought maybe I could take that instead? I forgot to ask during the consult. How long do I wait before I start having sex again?
