Clubs & Events
One thing I like about university life is having something happening beyond regular classes.
For Galgotias students, which club, society or event has actually been worth participating in?
Looking for some genuine recommendations.

How would you describe the classroom experience at Galgotias?
Are classes mostly theory-based, or do teachers also include practical examples and discussions?
Would love to hear honest experiences from current students.
For CSE students at Galgotias - how much time do you actually spend coding outside classes?
Do you work on personal projects or mostly college assignments?
Would be interesting to know how others are building their skills.
Galgotias students, what do you usually do when you get a free period? 😅
Library, canteen, meeting friends, working on projects, or just catching up on assignments?
Curious to know how everyone actually spends their free time on campus.
What’s one thing about Galgotias that you only understood after actually becoming a student here? 🤔
Would love to hear the honest answers
Is it just me, or do the best college memories happen outside the classroom? 😂
What’s your most random Galgotias memory so far?
Galgotias students, what do you usually do when you have a free day on campus?
Events, friends, café, library… or just going home? 😭
If you could add ONE thing to improve student life at Galgotias, what would it be?
Let’s see what students actually want.
Personally, between classes, events, projects and random plans, there was always something going on. What’s your experience?
For me, coding was important, but working on events and with different teams taught me a completely different set of skills.
Looking back, some of my best college experiences actually happened outside the classroom.
Events, competitions, clubs and managing teams taught me a lot about dealing with people and handling pressure.
Obviously academics matter, but I feel the extracurricular side of college also plays a pretty big role.
What I liked about Galgotias was that you could find pretty different kinds of people here.
Some were into coding, some into dance and music, some were doing content, sports or completely different things.
I personally met a lot of people through events and activities that I probably wouldn’t have interacted with otherwise.
I’ve seen a lot of discussions about placements at Galgotias, so sharing my honest take.
There are opportunities and companies coming in, but I wouldn’t say you can depend completely on the college for your placement.
Skills, projects, communication and starting your preparation early make a big difference.
Basically, you still have to put in the work yourself.
Being VP Cultural was probably one of the most hectic parts of my college journey.
Managing different teams, coordinating with people and handling last-minute problems taught me things that classrooms probably couldn’t.
It wasn’t always smooth, but looking back, I’m genuinely glad I took up the responsibility.
One thing I’ll definitely remember about Galgotias is the number of events happening throughout the year.
Being involved in events also gave me a completely different experience than regular college life.
There’s obviously a lot of chaos behind the scenes, but watching everything finally come together is actually pretty satisfying.
I think the coding culture at Galgotias really depends on how much effort you personally put in.
You’ll find students who are really into DSA, development and hackathons, while others are more focused on academics.
If you’re genuinely interested in tech, there are enough opportunities to explore, but you have to take the initiative yourself.
Honestly, my campus life at Galgotias has been a mix of everything.
Some days were hectic, some were fun, and some were just about surviving assignments 😅
But being around so many different people and getting involved in college activities made the overall experience pretty memorable.
I’ve been associated with Galgotias University for a while, and honestly, my experience has been a mix of academics, events, clubs, competitions and a lot of student activities.
One thing I genuinely like about the university is the number of opportunities students get outside academics. There are cultural events, clubs, societies, competitions and different activities happening throughout the year. If you’re someone who likes to participate and build experience beyond just academics, there’s quite a lot to explore.
The campus and infrastructure have also improved a lot, and there are dedicated spaces for different activities and learning.
Of course, like any university, it has its pros and cons, and the experience can vary a lot depending on your course, faculty and what you personally want from college.
I’m curious to know what other students/alumni think.
For people who have studied at Galgotias - what has your experience been like? What do you think is the best and worst thing about the university?
