AITA for the underwear?
Our 20-year-old daughter and her fiancé have been staying with us for the past while and I’ve had enough. My daughter is not easy to live with and I can’t stand her fiancé. I told them when they came over that they were going to find their own place to live.
A few days ago my wife went out and while she was gone, things blew up between them. My daughter saw one of my wife’s underwear in the laundry of her fiancé and assumed that he was having an affair with one of his girlfriends. This assumption on the daughter’s part shows the poor state of their relationship.
My daughter started crying when she saw the floral print of my wife’s underwear that she used to wave around in her fiancé’s face. When my wife came home from being out for approximately 30 minutes, she cleared up the misunderstanding. My wife turned to me and asked me why I hadn’t said anything to my daughter.
My daughter started to cry and hasn’t spoken to me since the incident. Her fiancé also said that we were all screwed up and left the house. My wife found the whole incident to be hilarious.
