I’m currently looking for work to complete my 88 days to extend my WHV and have come across a couple of employers offering hospitality jobs in NSW postcodes where hospitality doesn’t normally count.

They’re saying they can hire backpackers through a farm so that the work qualifies, even though the actual job is in hospitality.

I’m a bit unsure about how legit this is. Has anyone here done this and successfully had their 88 days accepted when applying for their second visa?

Would really appreciate any firsthand experiences or advice on whether this is safe or too risky.
