I’m looking into other career paths that are open to graphic designers. What position have other people gone into?

I’m looking into art education or possibly working for a museum. I have read that a certificate can get you into more art opportunities.

I’ve always been interested in being an art teacher since I graduated in 2013 and I’m thinking about going back to get a teaching degree/certificate.

I have 10 years of retail/customer service experience and 3 years of graphic design work. Plus I’ve been painting since I was 7 and have won some awards for my paintings in fairs.

I’ve always enjoyed sharing my love of art with people and I think teaching art would be fun and rewarding.

I don’t have any experience with teaching kids, but I’m really considering this career path.

Thank you.
