Pokeweed? Tobacco? Pokey tobaccy?
These plants popped up along my fence in a spot where I had peppers last year. They are, decidedly, not peppers. But what are they? At first I thought pokeweed, but didn’t think they quite fit the description. Image search returns both pokeweed and tobacco.
