I have a Train + Flight booking from Bremen through Frankfurt to LA (ExpressRail Ticket). Two questions:
1. If the train is delayed, I understand I’d get rebooked onto a later flight automatically — is that correct for these combo tickets?
2. What if I just skip the train entirely, since I actually live in Frankfurt and don’t need it? There’s no ticket control on trains in Germany. Would the system flag this as a “No-Show” on the first leg and cancel my flight, even though I’d show up on time at the airport?
3. What if I‘m already at the airport at 9 or 10 am? Flight is at 1:50pm and train would arrive at 12:50pm. I already checkd in with my boarding pass then and went through security and that should be visible in the system right?
Anyone dealt with this before? Trying to figure out if skipping the train leg is actually risk-free or not.
