My boyfriend (18M) got some new friends after not really having any for a while because his previous ones were extremely toxic and I (18F) was really happy for him. They started playing siege everyday for hours and he would genuinely spend more time talking to them over paying attention to me which I didn't really mind because he just got new friends. I started getting kind of grossed out when he got added to an Instagram group chat with them where they would send random women to "lock in" even though he says he doesn't personally check the group chat when those women are sent. When I bring it up to him how it feels like he doesn't respect me as a person by staying there even though he doesn't check, it becomes my fault and he starts victimizing himself and saying things like "I'll just leave and tell them 'She might see what you guys post'" in an angry and frustrated tone which makes me feel like he's trying to make me seem bad and that he isn't actually interested in leaving himself. Am I (18F) insecure?
