I (26F) was casually talking with my bf (25M) about the first meeting and first kiss, and I randomly asked if he would have done similar things with a girl he previously liked (he had liked her for about a month, saw a future with her, sent her chocolates/flowers etc)
He replied: Woh bohot knowledgeable thi, usko ullu banana mushkil tha, main usko pagal nahi bana pata. (T: She was very knowledgeable. It would have been difficult to fool her)
The first thing I thought was: Are you saying I'm not knowledgeable and easier to fool/manipulate?
When I said that, he only replied, I didn't mean that, but gave no explanation of what he actually meant.
Am I overreading this, or does his wording sound off to other people too?
