Adjacent unit spotted bedbugs
We received an email today from our property manager saying the unit adjacent to ours has spotted “what they believe are bedbugs.” So they are treating our unit too as a precaution. My roommate and I have never had bites and we checked our mattresses and found nothing (no bugs, no spots, no stains). I also have pulled everything out from under my bed (I store a lot of boxes under there) and checked inside the boxes and found nothing. Nothing in my bedside table either. Same for my roommate. I feel like I’m just being paranoid now but should we be okay as long as we do the cleaning/preparing the bug people ask us to do? Might we possibly have bedbugs but we just aren’t seeing them because they’re hiding well and aren’t reacting to the bites? Sorry if this is silly. I have a touch of ocd and can’t stop thinking about it and wanting to throw everything I own away. Thanks for any help!
