No crank no start after valve cover change 08 335i e92 w jb4 installed
Just a little back story i brought my car to a bmw mechanic for a valve cover change and they completed the service and test drove my car
After test driving my car and parking it, he said it wouldnt turn on. Entire Dash lights up, every light in the car turns on. He says the battery has voltage & jumped the car with norcojumper & industrial jumper
He said multiple times he went over everything, grounds, & engine grounds secure
He diagnosed it and found the codes in the pictures & videos.
he also diagnosed with a bmw coder who said the codes were pointing to PT-scan.
He said the dme was offline or
somethings not allowing anything to communicate.
he says he removed the jb4 and tried to start but still got nothing. Tried to reset the dme but could not reset it. Battery is fairly new, he shows it getting voltage.
He says the wire/connector that attaches to starter in the picture is not getting power
He believes the jb4 is caused the dme to fail.
I have since had the car towed to my house where i can check everything, any help would be grateful
