Wemby has been a deer in headlights so far. A lot of the Spurs have been inconsistent, so by no means is this all coaching. But Jesus Christ, it feels like Mitch Johnson is really letting down the Spurs here.

They haven’t had any defensive answer for the Knicks, who absolutely have offensive weaknesses. KAT was getting open layups all of game 1. Getting Wemby decent looks at the hoop (easily their biggest advantage on offense) seems impossible, as he’s spent most of the series out on the 3 pt line so far.

To me the biggest sin was not playing Dillon Harper for the last several minutes to close game 1. He was having an awesome game.

TLDR: what the fuck is the Spurs’ gameplan right now on either end of the floor?
