Hi everyone,

I'm an Erasmus student from Germany and I'll be spending my exchange semester at Aalto University starting in August 2026.

I still need one elective course from the School of Engineering to reach the required 30 ECTS for my Erasmus program. Ideally, I'm looking for a course where it's possible to get a good grade without an excessive workload. A course offered during Autumn II would be especially convenient.

I also have a question regarding attendance: Is there generally a mandatory attendance policy at Aalto University lectures? And if so, would it be a problem to miss about one week during the semester?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations or experiences. Thanks!
