Is my cat pregnant? Please advise 🙏
Hey everyone! I was hoping to get some advice - does this look like a pregnant cat?
Can anyone tell if she is close to having kittens or still in earlier stage of pregnancy??
Update * I know abort/spay it’s an option but it really doesn’t help when people mass comment “abort woah is the only option” she is my cat I have her best interest at heart, we will see what happens after the vet sees her. I am only posting asking for people to help identify if she is pregnant or not.
Her nipples seem prominent and the sides of her belly seem to be protruding out a bit and her belly feels bigger/firm. My friend has photos of her from a few months ago and her belly line is pretty much flat.I don’t try ink she’s fat because it’s only her belly as you can see in the photo that fat. Her face is quite small. I would really appreciate any advice to know if she is pregnant or not so I can prepare even if there is a chance she is. Are these photos clear enough? How many weeks does she look to be? I’m quite stressed - if anyone has insights or advice, please please help🙏
Context: Our friend entrusted us with her cat because she’s leaving the country permanently. I’ve had cat experience before (cat sitting long term) but I don’t know much about pregnant cats. She is a calico kitty and when we last saw her a few months ago she was quite spicy, doesn’t like to be held but since she came last week she is so sweet and so nice to everyone. She is also shedding like crazy. My friend had her as in indoor cat but a few months ago she got out and didn’t come back for a few days.
