Enantiomer
Humanity faces extinction: environmental collapse and genetic decay make survival impossible. As a radical solution, they initiate a planetary Hard Reset. Researchers engineer a mirrored biosphere-chiral life that is immune to all ancient viruses and ruthlessly displaces the corrupt original. Millennia later, a new mirror civilization rules a flawless Earth, oblivious to its true origin. But deep within a salt mine, a forgotten Ark awakens. Scientists of this new world discover molecules within it that are "wrong-handed" or non-chiral: the original ancestral DNA of humanity. It soon becomes clear: the Ark is not a peaceful legacy, but a biological Trojan Horse. The creators viewed this mirror-life only as a cleansing agent to sanitize the planet. Now, the timer has expired. The original life returns to starve the chiral world and reclaim its throne. A mirror protagonist must decide whether to fight the "gods" or accept the cyclical extinction of their entire species.
