Account hacked via family link exploit, wary of contacting youtube via X
Long story short I got Got 3 days ago, I've secured and redirected what accounts I can and learned this hack method is apparently known and still viable.
I would jump on the team youtube method as I've secured my twitter, but I recieved a twitter DM from the attacker offering my accounts assumed at ransom (havent clicked it because it would show read reciepts), and when I search that account I see that we're mutually following eachother on both of my twitter accounts--I have no memory of following them.
If they're following me they may have my activity set to notifications; if I block them their [currently less than 10] follower count would drop. Either of these and trying to @ youtube on X may tip them off to my attempts to work around them and cause them to delete the email.
One idea I have is having a friend who owns the YT premium group subscription that I was a part of [until the hacker removed my account] try reaching out to youtube via X on my behalf.
Any input is welcome.
