So i completely forgot my google account name and it didnt have any recovery email or phone number 😭 and it had my pictures, i especially created to backup my pictures only and after a few days my phone stopped working and the phone isnt fixing and idk how to recover the account. Pleaee help me if ya all know anything how to do it 😭🙏🏼

I was trying to edit a Docs, but it said I couldn't and that I have no space.

I don't think that is correct since I regularly clear my email, and drive. About the start of the year, it started telling me I was almost of space, which was weird because I clear my emails(delete in the trash folder), and drive(delete in trash folder).

And it's telling me to pay 1.99 for 100GB.

Is this just google trying to get money? Is it a scam? What should I do?

I'm in a really bad situation and hoping someone has been through this or has advice.

I got logged out of my Gmail business account and I can't get back in. This account is the owner of my Google Play Console and AdMob account.

The strange part is that I know the correct password and I can successfully complete 2FA using my Google Authenticator app. However, on the final verification step, where Google is supposed to send an SMS verification code, I immediately get the error: "Too many failed attempts. Try again later."

The error appears before an SMS is even sent, so I never have a chance to enter the code. I've waited and tried again later, but the same thing keeps happening.

This has had a huge impact on my business. My app has over 10,000 registered users, and because I can't access the account:

• I can't access the Google Play Console.
• I can't publish app updates or bug fixes.
• Google Sign-In in my app has stopped working.
• In-app purchases no longer work.
• Ads have stopped serving because I lost access to AdMob.

Has anyone experienced this specific "Too many failed attempts" error even after entering the correct password and Authenticator code? Is there any way to get past it or contact Google about this? If the account can't be recovered, is there any way to regain access to the Play Console or transfer ownership?

At this point, I'm unable to maintain or monetize my app, and my users are affected as well. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Just the title. I recently got laid off and on a timer. Created a new email to keep all the job applications related stuff separate and had to submit an OA as well. The morning I had to give the test my account was disabled and I submitted an and it got approved.
When I try to login, I’m not able to and said “Too many attempts failed, try again in a few hours”.
Anyone know how many hours is the “few hours”? Or is it a sync issue between servers or something?

Sorry I'm a total lurker and have no idea how to post because I don't lol. Hope this is a good sub for this question. My mom is losing control of her tech. Senile maybe but we're not having that talk today lol. One breakdown at a time. She lost her phone again and has no 2FA, no hard copy of current passwords, and her security questions all failed. She's had the same google account for the better part of 20 years and there's shit on there she needs. Is it hopeless? Main reason I'm upset is she was in contact with a docent who was trying to repatriate a family heirloom that's been lost for decades, and maybe you can guess but she didn't write down any of that, either. Any hope at all? I'm just borderline tech-literate btw.

My phone just got stolen. Im still connected on my pc, I have acces to my account but when I try any security thing like disconnect a device or in my case to factory reset my stolen phone ( which is the function that is proposed to me in the "localise" app in google account) these genius ask me my password ( I have it no problem ) and then to validate on my phone...

How these guys at google can be that smart ?
And this is not over, I clicked on "try another method" I put my backup code, I received a code on my backup email adress, but in each case they ask me AGAIN afterwards to validate on my phone...

Now they're saying bs like I need to wait 48h to receive a code on my pc. So nice of them to let 48h to the thief to get in and steal everything or whatever.

Any help/idea ?

I’m reaching out for help with an issue I haven’t been able to resolve on my own.
My Google account was suspended a few days ago. I submitted an appeal, and it was approved — the suspension was lifted.

However, I am still unable to log in to the account. I’m using the correct password and correct credentials, but the system won’t send me the SMS verification code needed for two-factor authentication. It shows a message about too many attempts and asks me to wait, even after trying multiple times over an extended period.
This account is essential for my business (I manage Google Ads, Merchant Center, Analytics, and Search Console for my online store through it), so being locked out despite the approved appeal is causing serious disruption.

Has anyone else run into this — an approved appeal but being blocked from logging back in due to SMS rate limiting? Is there any way to reset this or use an alternative verification method?

I'm completely locked out of my Google account and I don't know what else to try.

My account is still active, but I cannot sign in.

Here's what happens every time:

1. I enter my Gmail address.
2. Google never asks for my password.
3. Instead, it immediately starts account recovery.
4. It asks me to enter a verification code that is sent to the same Gmail account that I'm locked out of.
5. Since I can't access that Gmail account, I can't get the code.
6. If I choose other recovery options, Google eventually says:

• A recovery phone number.
• A recovery email.
• I was using my usual Windows PC and iPhone before being signed out.

However, Google never asks me for:

• my password,
• Google Authenticator code,
• backup codes,
• or my recovery phone number.

It only keeps trying to send a verification code to the Gmail account that I'm already locked out of, which creates an impossible recovery loop.

Has anyone experienced this exact problem?

If you recovered your account:

• How did you get Google to stop sending codes to the locked Gmail account?
• Did Google eventually allow you to use another verification method?
• Did waiting several days or weeks help?

i forgot my password to my google account which i can only access on my old phone whoch is now broken. and when i try resetting the password, it says that i havent proven that i own the account. what do i do?

Seeking some help for my mom. My mom’s gmail account was hacked after she received and signed up on a “join now” email.

For context she’s a 56 year old content creator. She posts on YouTube and instagram. On youtube she has around 45K subs on one of her channels 15K on her other (both connected to the hacked email). The email she received was for something related to connecting influencers, no idea what the email said or what the email address was as by the time she asked for my help, everything was gone. She’s never fallen for anything like this before.

They not only changed her password, but changed her backup email, phone number, passkey, and everything. The pass key that it asks for now is a USB. She also no longer has access to her YouTube channel because of this.
They are actively live on YouTube which about XRP crashes? The account is @ripple which I’m sure is a scam.

She tried calling support, but they’re only really have YouTube support, but they couldn’t help if she didn’t have access to her email so they told her to go on x.com/YouTubecreators and message them? Pretty unhelpful.

Everything happened really fast. I am worried about her
Instagram account but we changed the password and made sure 2FA is on.

If anyone can give any advice or insight on this situation that would be really helpful. I don’t want to believe it’s impossible to recover her account because this is truly what she loves doing :(

This is super frustrating. For the last 3 weeks, I have not been able to log into my Gmail account. It has a backup Gmail account and a phone number associated with it. Whenever I do account recovery, it looks promising and sends the authentication to Gmail, where I choose yes, feed the number in, then it wants to send a text to my phone, but says too many attempts. I let it sit for a week, tried again; same outcome. Seriously, what is going on?

The worst part is that I have Youtube Premium tied to this account, so I am paying for a service I cannot use.

Is it working? My Gmail, for some odd reason, is not working correctly it keeps crashing.

I made a Gmail account way back and now unable to restore it. I don’t think I set up a recovery email id and if I did I’ve lost access to that too. My laptop I used to make that account is now reset (I still do have the laptop) what to do please help I REALLY need the account I’ve been trying for years 😭😭😭
