I bought a new phone and exchanged the older one. I don't have any kind of access to the older phone now. Now, as I try to sign in in the new device, even though I enter the correct password, it says verify that it's you and for that it has send an email in my older device. So I am basically locked out of my device. Is there any way to access my account??

I’m trying to log into my Pinterest account that I have linked to my google account. It wants me to authenticate the log in by tapping a number on my Google Photos app. The problem is is that I don’t have that app downloaded and I don’t want to download it. The only option it gives is to use Google Photos or a Google authentication app. I use a different Authenticator app, I’m not going to add a Google one as well. Is there a way to make it prompt an email code or text code, or honestly any other app than Google Photos??

Hello everyone, I've been having problems with my Google account.
For reference, I've had this account for about 4(?) years, and I am a minor (junior hs), so I've been having problems with the self-helping instructions on the website.
Recently, I found videos in my YouTube watch history that I am POSITIVE I did not view. They are in multiple different languages (ranging from English, Thai(?), and Chinese.) All of which range from minutes up to 11+ hours.
When I saw them, I obviously panicked. I changed my password, deleted all my content and redid it, but they keep coming back. I did everything in the account recovery manual, but nothing worked and I think I missed a step or did something wrong :(
I'm really scared and only realized this yesterday and stayed up all night trying to reach out to others for help.
Could this relate to Google recovery? Can I do something before they hijack my other accounts/apps, as well?

Long story short: I purchased my grandma an iPhone 10 years ago and sent it to her. The thing is still working! I set it up with everything she needs across the country with my phone number and email as the recovery email. Today I got a text from a family member saying they needed to log into her Gmail remotely and that my info was the recovery. Asked for the password. I wouldn't give it.
30 minutes later I got an email saying that there was a security alert with a new iPhone login. I tried to log in from my PC and the password has been changed and the recovery options aren't there. It said I need to be on the same network I have been using. It's the same network I activated the phone on and set up the service but routers, devices and everything has changed in 10 years. Any suggestions how to get in?

I am writing to urge Google to urgently review certain websites that operate through deceptive subscription practices. There are countless complaints about these services online, and with even minimal research it becomes obvious that, although they may technically appear legally compliant, the entire system is clearly misleading and exploitative.
I am referring to subscription traps where a customer is led to believe they are paying a small one-time fee, for example $1, only to later discover recurring charges of $50–60 or more being withdrawn from their bank card without realizing what they even subscribed to.
And no, it is absolutely not acceptable to justify this by saying the terms were “written somewhere in small print.” Hiding critical payment information behind manipulative design is consumer deception.
Examples include cvmaker.hu, cvmaker.com, and pdfguru.com, among others that I have personally encountered.
What is especially concerning is that these kinds of websites often appear at the very top of Google search results. Is this really compatible with Google’s quality standards and responsibility toward users?
Google should establish a dedicated review process for these types of deceptive subscription services and create a simple reporting option specifically for users to flag misleading billing practices.
This is not merely a legal technicality. From a basic consumer protection perspective, this is clearly misleading behavior toward customers.
It is particularly troubling that children, students, or inexperienced users can easily provide their bank card details to such services and then become victims of recurring unauthorized charges.
As far as I am aware, some of these companies have already faced consumer protection investigations or complaints in various countries. How is it possible that Google continues to prioritize them in search rankings? Why is there no straightforward way to report these practices directly through Search?
I sincerely ask you to take this issue seriously, share this letter internally with the appropriate teams, and work toward a meaningful solution. I (17) had my aunt set up an email account to help publish and maintain my app on the Play and App stores. I have access to it but used she's essentially my sponsor for the apps until I turn 18. It worked well and I got the play store app into closed beta testing last week.
But a few days ago, the email locked me out for "unusual activity." I entered the password, then entered the 2FA text code successfully, but it's now hard-locked me on the screen from the attached image. The problem is, this number (ending in 78, our numbers end in 1 and 2) does not belong to me or my aunt and neither of us have registered it in any way with the account. It's sending a 3rd verification code to a random number and "Try Another Way" just cycles back to the same screen with no alternative.
The email itself also seems to be deactivated, does not receive new emails, and most importantly has shut down my beta testing and the app screen itself. I submitted a Google Account Recovery Request but that link also hard locks me to sending a code to the random number. Google support/searches have also been useless.
Has anyone experienced this before, or have suggestions to get our account access back?
