I have the La Sportiva TX Guide and absolutely love it, especially because of the fit. Now I’m looking for a similar shoe but with a waterproof membrane.

The most important things for me are:

narrow to medium fit

a proper climbing zone

and most importantly: a deep, secure heel cup / heel lockdown

I’ve tried quite a few shoes already, and my main issue is always heel slip or getting blisters because the heel doesn’t fit well.

I use the shoe for easy climbing/scrambling and for all snow-free mountain tours.

Any recommendations from people who had a similar issue with heel fit?
