Reddit's content ban system is so trash I'm fucking fuming
I posted a FICTIONAL STORY that was flaired as FICTION in a subreddit dedicated to horror FICTION, but because a character engaged in violence in my FICTIONAL horror story, I received a warning for inciting violence, post removed.
I appealed the warning, obviously, because what the fuck is Reddit smoking??? Fictional violence in a subreddit specifically fucking dedicated to posting FICTION is the same as inciting real violence????
Well.....
Appealing the warning resulted in my account being permanently banned for content violations.
Genuinely fuck this shitty fucking system. Reddit has a whole section dedicated to fiction writers but if your story contains scenes of violence, that makes YOU a violent person, and will result in a permanent ban????
