I rescued this plant from the hardware store. The labeling only said Sarracenia. Is this Sarracenia minor? Just checking before I transplant it into my bog with Sarracenia x excellens.

Recently I have found a couple of dead traps with a round spot, and when I open them I find a digested ladybug. I have seen mine eat wasps, yellowjackets, even a juvenile lizard with no issues. Does anyone know if it’s the harder exoskeleton on the ladybug that causes this or something it secretes?
