Hi everyone,

I am a beginner learning Blender and I need some advice.

Should I focus on learning vanilla Blender first, using only the built-in tools, or is it okay to use add-ons while I am still learning?

I am looking at this add-on for curve modelling:

My goal is to make clean, detailed models and eventually use Blender for product-style work.

I do not want to rely on shortcuts too early or build bad habits, but I also do not want to make things harder for myself if add-ons are a normal part of a good workflow.

What would you recommend for a beginner?
