I want to start Etsy but I keep doubting my niche and products
Hi everyone,
I want to start an Etsy shop, but I’m stuck in my own head before I’ve even begun.
I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos about Etsy, and that’s what got me interested in starting. The problem is, I keep overthinking everything. I’m constantly questioning if I’m choosing the right niche, or if my products are even good enough.
I haven’t even opened my shop yet, and I already feel like giving up sometimes because I think:
“this isn’t good enough” or “what’s the point, everyone is already doing this anyway.”
Has anyone else experienced this at the very beginning?
Were you confident about what you were going to sell when you started, or did you also feel lost and unsure?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences because I’m hoping to get some clarity and motivation from people who’ve actually been through it.
For context, I was planning to start with wall art, but seeing how saturated it is makes me doubt myself even more.
(Also, I have ADHD, which makes me overthink and second-guess things pretty fast.)
