Why the High Number of Low Mileage ITS for Sale?

Why the High Number of Low Mileage ITS for Sale?

Hey all,

Like many, I’m keeping one eye open for any deals on a lightly used ITS.

On cars.com, there are currently just over 80 for sale across the country. Of those, 9 have less than 2K miles, 24 have less than 5K miles, and 38 are under 10K . It’s a small sample, and I know this model hasn’t been around that long, but having nearly 50% of the ones for resale at <10K in mileage seems like a red flag.

https://www.cars.com/shopping/results/?stock_type=used&makes%5B%5D=acura&trims%5B%5D=acura-integra-type_s&models%5B%5D=acura-integra&zip=90036&maximum_distance=9999&sort=mileage

I don’t see anything about any major issues/concerns with the car, so what’s up? Are people disappointed with some aspect of the performance (seems unlikely)? Is the manual transmission more than they bargained for? Or are these buyers so rich that they can just say, “meh, not for me” and eat the depreciation? 🤑

Thoughts? Or if anyone bought one & sold it right away, what was the reasoning?
